Ingredients
  

Tuna Salad Base
  • 2 cans tuna drained and flaked
  • 1 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt for a lighter option
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup celery finely chopped
  • 1 cup red onion finely chopped
  • 1 cup sweet pickle relish
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste
Optional Add-ins
  • 1 hard-boiled egg chopped
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes halved
  • 1 avocado sliced for serving

Method
 

Prepare the Salad
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, celery, red onion, sweet pickle relish, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
Add Optional Ingredients
  1. If desired, fold in the chopped hard-boiled egg and halved grape tomatoes.
  2. Serve on a bed of lettuce or with sliced avocado.
