  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup colored sugar yellow, green, and purple

Method
 

Dough Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the warm milk and active dry yeast, allowing it to activate for about 5 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, mix the flour, granulated sugar, salt, and ground cinnamon.
  3. In the yeast mixture, add the melted butter, eggs, and stir well.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until the dough forms.
  5. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
  6. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
  7. Punch down the dough and shape it into a ring or oval shape.
  8. Place the shaped dough on a greased baking sheet and allow it to rise again for about 30 minutes.
  9. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Let the cake cool before frosting.
  12. In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  13. Spread the cream cheese frosting over the cooled cake and decorate with colored sugar.
