  • 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar adjust based on sweetness of strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 cup water for blending

Preparation
  1. In a blender, combine the fresh strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, and water. Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour the mixture into a mixing bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to chill.
  3. Once chilled, pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until it reaches a soft-serve consistency.
  4. Transfer the sorbet to an airtight container and freeze for at least 2 hours to firm up.
  5. Scoop and serve the sorbet in bowls or cones.
