Ingredients
  

Cucumbers
  • 4 medium cucumbers sliced thinly
Marinade
  • 1 cup white vinegar or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon dill fresh or dried
  • 1 clove garlic minced

Method
 

Prepare the Cucumbers
  1. Wash and slice the cucumbers thinly. Place them in a mixing bowl.
Make the Marinade
  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together the vinegar, water, sugar, salt, black pepper, dill, and minced garlic until the sugar and salt are dissolved.
Combine and Marinate
  1. Pour the marinade over the sliced cucumbers and toss to coat evenly.
  2. Transfer the cucumbers and marinade to a jar or container. Seal and refrigerate for at least 45 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Serve
  1. Serve chilled as a side dish or salad.
