Ingredients
  

Sauce Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce preferably low sodium
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang Korean chili paste
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds for garnish
  • 1 teaspoon green onions chopped, for garnish

Method
 

Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced garlic, minced ginger, and gochujang.
  2. Whisk the ingredients together until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is well combined.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, adding more gochujang for heat or sugar for sweetness.
  4. Transfer the sauce to a serving bowl and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
