Ingredients

Pasta
  • 12 oz Pasta (e.g., fettuccine or penne) Use your preferred type of pasta.
Sauce
  • 8 oz Boursin cheese Any flavor of Boursin cheese.
  • 1 cup Heavy cream For a richer sauce.
  • 1 cup Vegetable or chicken broth To thin the sauce.
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese Freshly grated for best flavor.
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil For sautéing.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 tsp Salt To taste.
  • 1 tsp Black pepper To taste.
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning Optional, for added flavor.
Garnish
  • 2 tbsp Fresh parsley Chopped, for garnish.

Method

Cook the Pasta
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Drain the pasta and set aside, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Add the Boursin cheese, heavy cream, and broth to the skillet. Stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  3. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water as needed.
  4. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning (if using).
Serve
  1. Serve the pasta hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
